SBL Season 19 playoffs were played last night, or not, I was personally unable to make it.
With that, we see the end of SBL on SOE.
Given the reduced players, and lack of attendance by most, I will not be strongly perusing free infantry for a league zone. If we get one though, I will try and organise some events once my life settles down a bit in a month or so, and of course you're all welcome to try and organise something yourself.
I currently host the website, and I will be keeping it up and active. Jacque has the domain name, and has recently paid for another year, but if he drops it in the future I will try and pick it up, but if in the future anything does go tits up, contact me on aim/msn or visit hundin.com and I'll use that as a forwarding site should shit go down.
All that's left to be said is that Infantry, specifically SBL has been for many of us (other than Dizze the old fart) a game that we've grown up with, and through that we've made tones of e-friends, found other games, and generally had a pretty good time. Yeah, recently we never really got the numbers we wanted, but SBL is still pretty damn fun.
Hopefully we can have a "reunion" in the near future and enjoy another game of soccer.
